We do not purchase any security with a specific sale price. We are disciplined, long-term investors.
However, J.W. Burns & Company may sell a stock if:
- One or more of the fundamental reasons we purchased the stock turns negative.
- Earnings slow down.
- A better investment opportunity arises.
We manage risk in a straightforward fashion - by owning high quality, low debt businesses that dominate their industry. Because these businesses are generally non-cyclical, their earnings tend to be defensive and durable in good times and bad.
